According to the network environment, select
Wired Ethernet
or
Wireless
. Before enabling
the Wireless option, follow the steps in
2.1.3 Configuring the Wireless Connection
to
configure the wireless settings first.
[LAN Configuration]
Dynamic IP address:
The network environment has a DHCP server which will
automatically assign a dynamic IP address to the camera. Click the
Test DHCP
to see
the currently assigned IP address or look up the address using GV-IP Device Utility.
Static IP address:
Assign a static IP or fixed IP to the camera. Type the camera’s IP
address, Subnet Mask, Router/Gateway, Primary DNS server and Secondary DNS
server.

PPPoE:
The network environment is xDSL connection. Type the Username and
Password provided by ISP to establish the connection. If you use the xDSL connection
with dynamic IP addresses, first use the DDNS function to obtain a domain name linking
to the camera’s changing IP address.
