2 Coolant temperature switch: Tag and
disconnect the wiring from the switch, located
at the engine coolant outlet just above the
alternator. Remove the switch from the
engine.
Oil Pressure switch: Tag and disconnect the
wiring from the switch, located at the top of
the engine just in front of the valve rocker
cover. Remove the switch from the engine.
Bodily injury hazard. Contact
with hot engine fluids or
components may cause severe
burns.
3 Coolant temperature switch: Install the new
switch. Torque to 20 ft-lbs / 27 Nm.
Oil Pressure switch: Install the new switch.
Torque to 88 in-lbs / 10 Nm.
Note: Always use pipe thread sealant when
installing a new switch.

Engine RPM
How to Adjust the RPM
1 Start the engine from the ground controls.
2 Hold the start toggle switch to the start
position and check the engine RPM on the
diagnostic display. Refer to Specifications,
Engine Specifications
. Proceed to step 4 if the
low idle is correct.
3 To correct the low idle speed, loosen the
locknut on the low idle adjustment screw.
Turn the low idle adjustment screw on the
linkage clockwise to increase rpm or
counterclockwise to decrease rpm. Tighten
the lock nut and recheck the rpm.
