The “Full Backup” loading procedure replaces (overwrites)
ALL
the existing data on the
local hard drive of the Voluson® 730Pro / 730ProV system!
CAUTION
There are circumstances where it is not possible to load (restore) all the data.
The following rules specify the restrictions:
1.) Generally,
only
restoring data from an older to a newer software version is possible.
Loading a backup into a system that has a lower software version than the system the backup was
created on is prohibited.
2.) Options can
only
be restored on the same Voluson® 730Pro / 730ProV system within the same
major software version.
3.) When loading a backup into a system with a software version that has a higher major number
(2.x.x -> 3.x.x -> 4.x.x -> 5.x.x), the following items will not be restored:
A.) User Settings
B.) Options
C.) State of the Service Platform (new model type necessary for VOLC)
4.) The
user
is
only
allowed to restore data to a different system if and only if the software version on
this system is the same as in the backup.
5.) The
user
is
only
allowed to restore data onto the same system if and only if the software version
on this system is equal or higher than the version in the backup.
6.) The
user
is
not
allowed to restore the following items to a different system:
A.) Windows Network Settings
B.) Options
C.) DICOM AE Title
D.) DICOM Station Name
E.) State of the Service Platform
