B.6 Security Setup Menu
The
Security
setup
provides
both
a
Supervisor
and
a
User
password.
If
you
use
both
passwords,
the
Supervisor
password
must
be
set
first.
The
system
can
be
configured
so
that
all
users
must
enter
a
password
every
time
the
system
boots
or
when
setup
is
executed,
using
either
the
Supervisor
password
or
User
password.

reset

forgotten
password,
you
must
clear
the
NVRAM
and
reconfigure.

If ONLY the Administrator’s password is set,
then this only limits access to Setup and is
only asked for when entering Setup.
If ONLY the User’s password is set, then this
is a power on password and must be entered to
boot or enter Setup. In Setup, the User will
have Administrator rights.
