Module exCHange
1. Follow the steps in
“Remove housing of the eBike III basic“ on page 42
or
“Remove housing of the eBike III comfort“ on page
46.
2. Disconnect the cable of the RPM module from the
LIU electronics (the electronic housing is located
underneath the bottom plate).
3. Use a long, flexible, magnetic Allen key to remove the
two Allen screws securing the RPM module from the
bottom plate.
4. Carefully remove the RPM module through the hole in
the bottom plate.
5. Insert the new RPM module carefully through the hole
in the bottom plate into the load unit.
6. From the top of the load unit carefully tighten the two
Allen screws..
7. Connect the cable to the appropriate connector on the
LIU board (marked as “RPM brake“).
