Setting Up the Analog 
Output (cont.)

The following procedures may be performed in this submenu:

•

Analog Output Type:

 configure the analog output for a 0-20 mA, 

4-20 mA, 0-2 V, or Namur type.

•

Zero Setpoint:

 enter the live measurement value that corresponds 

to the low end of the analog output range.

•

Span Setpoint:

 enter the live measurement value that corresponds 

to the high end of the analog output range minus the zero setpoint.

•

Test:

 specify a fixed percentage of the analog output range and 

verify that the correct value is generated.

•

Zero Trim:

 adjust the actual output to equal the low end of the 

analog output range.

•

Span Trim: 

adjust the actual output to equal the high end of the 

analog output range minus the zero setpoint.

Proceed to the appropriate sub-section to program the desired analog 
output feature.
