The rake system collects powder
from the hoppers and spreads it over
the build area (start plate).
A drive motor is mounted externally
at the rear of the vacuum chamber.
Movement is transferred via a gear-
box and a shaft feedthrough to the
chain sprocket. This motion drives a
chain with a linear vessel and rake
arm (guided by two linear bars) under
the build table.
