If simulation is performed on a PC workstation a Simulation key (HASP) is needed
to start EBM Control. It will enable a simulated machine environment.

A Simulation key should never be inserted into an Arcam EBM ® machine since it will override the
physical machine hardware.
1. Prepare the STL files in Magics and EBM Build
Assembler.
2. Start E EB BM M C Co on nttrro oll and transfer the build.
3. Load the build.
4. Select process steps and models. Make sure that
all of the theme settings are the same as the settings
you are going to use when building in the machine.
5. Change start and/or end height (Select Z-levels, Build
tab) to simulate smaller sections of the build.
6. Press S Stta arrtt to initiate simulation.
If the simulation completes without any analyse failure, the build should work on the machine as well.
