1 Function introduction
1.1 Overview
GCAN-212 (CANET-II) is a high-performance CAN bus communication
interface card that integrates 2 CAN interfaces and 1 Ethernet interface. Using
GCAN-212 high-performance CAN interface card, users can easily complete
the interconnection and intercommunication of CAN bus network and Ethernet
network, and further expand the scope of CAN bus network.
GCAN-212 is a high-performance data conversion gateway, PC/PLC/HMI can
use Ethernet interface to connect this module to CAN bus quickly to form a
field bus laboratory, industrial control, intelligent community, CAN bus
network control node for data processing and data acquisition in the field of
CAN bus network such as automotive electronic network.
GCAN-212 has integrated the CAN interface electrical isolation protection
module to prevent damage to the equipment due to instantaneous over
current/overvoltage and enhance the reliability of the system in harsh
environments.
GCAN-212 support TCP server, TCP client, UDP work mode, if user uses PC
to connect to the GCAN-212 module, users can develop their own PC software.
