Wash System – Troubleshooting (Cont.)
Detergent Pump – Cont.
The following Detergent Consumption Chart shows the approximate amount of detergent used with
different Cam Settings with the pump pumping against a water pressure of 30 psi.
Important Note: Changing the Cam Setting to a higher level from the factor setting should only be done
after all other measures such as increasing the length of the Wash Cycle and or Frequency, and increasing
the temperature of the water have been made as the detergent is the largest cost of operating the Wash
System.
Detergent Flow Switch
The Detergent Flow Switch (Refer to Figure 4-47-1) is a sealed unit and
cannot be repaired. If determined that the Flow Switch is faulty
replace as follows:
1.
Turn off power to the Command Center.
2.
Disconnect the wiring from the pump junction box.
3.
Disconnect the copper tubing on both sides of the switch.
4.
Install a new Flow Switch.
