Advanced array functions

Deleting an array

Caution

You must stop all host I/O operations

prior to deleting an array.

Caution

Deleting an array deletes all data on the

logical drives and those associated with

that array. Make sure that you back up

the data before proceeding.

To delete an array:

Stop all host I/O operations.

From the

Main

window, click the array name you want to delete in the

Arrays

section. The

ARRAY

window opens.

Click

DELETE ARRAY

. A confirmation window opens.

Enter your password, then click

If the wrong password is entered, you are prompted to enter the correct
password, and the array is not be deleted.

After the array has been successfully deleted, click

CLOSE

to exit.
