The Solution
Not enough
froth.
The wrong function has
been selected.
For frothing, use the frothing function (see: ‘Properties of Your Milk
Frother’).
The chocolate basket is
installed on the frothing
rod.
For frothing, remove the chocolate basket. Add large pieces of
ingredients manually after frothing.
The milk is not really
fresh or you may have
used an insufficient type
of milk.
Only really fresh milk will build large amounts of froth. However,
not all types of milk are suited for frothing.
The frothing rod is pol-
luted.
Disassemble and soak the frothing rod for cleaning (see: ‘Care and
Cleaning’).
The milk has
a stale taste.
The milk is not really
fresh.
Only use really fresh milk.
Lid, milk jug, or frothing
rod may be polluted.
Milk easily takes unpleasant odour and taste. Thus, all parts of the
appliance must be kept thoroughly clean. Disassemble and soak the
frothing rod for cleaning. Additionally, soak and clean the milk jug,
lid and silicone seal thoroughly. (see: ‘Care and Cleaning’)
The milk froth
is not heated.
You have pressed the
frothing button too long.
When pressing the frothing button for 2 seconds, the heating coil
is deactivated. Only press the frothing button shortly for getting hot
milk froth.
The heating coil is
damaged.

Liquid accu-
mulates in
the power
base or runs
down on the
exterior of
the milk jug.
There is too much liquid
in the milk jug.
Immediately unplug the appliance. Then remove the milk jug and
wipe the appliance dry and clean completely. Depending on the
used function, always observe the MAX filling level (300ml or
600ml; see: ‘Operation’).
You spilled some liquid
when filling or moving
the milk jug.
Immediately unplug the appliance. Then remove the milk jug and
wipe the appliance dry and clean completely. Always ensure that
the exterior of the milk jug is dry and clean, before placing the milk
jug onto the power base. Always hold the milk jug level when it is
filled.
