8. Simply press the dedicated button to start the desired function (see: ‘Properties of
Your Milk Frother / Functions’).
Cold milk froth:
hold this button pressed for 2 seconds to get approx. 2/3
of froth and 1/3 of milk. The button will be illuminated in blue.
Hot milk froth:
press this button only shortly to get approx. 2/3 of hot froth
and 1/3 of hot milk. The button will be illuminated in red.
Hot milk
(max. 1/5 milk froth).
Hot chocolate

NOTE:
During operation, only the STOP button is active. The other buttons will be
idle. If you wish to cancel the running function, press the STOP button. The appli-
ance will switch back to standby mode immediately. Thereafter you can start a new
function.
9. As soon as a vortex is generated within the milk, you may add finely ground
solid ingredients (e.g. caster sugar). Close the milk jug with the lid. When the
pre-set temperature and time is reached, the appliance will switch to standby
mode automatically and a signal will sound. Your milk or beverage is ready for
consumption now.
NOTE:
After making milk froth (e.g. for cappuccino or latte), you can pour the hot
milk by leaving the lid on the milk jug. This way, the froth will be left within the milk
jug. Then, after removing the lid and frothing rod, you can take out the milk froth
using a plastic spoon.
10. Remove the lid and the frothing rod from the milk jug. To keep your workspace
clean, you may place the the frothing rod onto the lid. Empty the milk jug.
11. Always rinse the frothing rod with cold water immediately after usage.
12. It is crucial to clean the lid, milk jug, and frothing rod after each usage (see:
‘Care and Cleaning’). Residues of food on the frothing rod could affect the per-
formance of the appliance considerably.
13. Do not leave the appliance connected to the power supply, when it is not in use,
to avoid useless energy loss. Unplug the appliance, if you do not wish to use the
appliance again.
