Solve the problem. Thereafter, you may start the desired function again.
An automatic shut-off may be a result of the following conditions:
• Not enough liquid (milk or water) in the milk jug. Always observe the MIN filling
level (300ml).
• You have taken out the frothing rod or removed the milk jug from the power base
during operation.
• The frothing rod is missing or is not assembled correctly.
• The frothing magnet got stuck or the heating coil is damaged or blocked.
BEFORE FIRST USE
WARNING:
DO NOT let young children play with the appliance, or any part of
it, or the packaging! The frothing magnet could easily get swallowed by young child-
ren, causing a high risk of suffocation! Thus, always ensure to keep especially the
frothing magnet out of reach of young children.
Always unplug the appliance before
cleaning it, and when it is not in use. Do not place or immerse the power base or
power cord in water or other liquids or spill any liquids on the power base or power
cord. Do not use any abrasive or corrosive cleaners for cleaning to avoid damage
to the surfaces.
Do not place the power base in an automatic dishwasher.
1. Unpack the appliance and all parts and accessories carefully. Check that no
parts are damaged or missing (see: ‘Knowing Your New Milk Frother’). Careful-
ly remove all packaging, shipping materials, stickers, and promotional materials.
However, DO NOT remove the model label.
IMPORTANT:
The retaining tool at the lower end of the frothing rod is forming a
cage, with the frothing magnet freely movable in it. This is normal no reason for con-
cern. Always handle the frothing rod with care to avoid damage to the retaining tool
and frothing magnet.
2. Before first use and after a longer period of storage, wipe the power base and
power cord with a soft damp cloth. Clean the milk jug, chocolate basket, frothing
rod, and lid of the appliance with some warm dishwater (see: ‘Care and Clea-
ning’). Then rinse and wipe dry thoroughly.
