Emergency stop required?
Unplug the power cord from the power supply and slide
the drip speed control to the “Drip stop” position.
There is coffee ground in your
coffee and/or on the filter
support.
You have forgotten to open
the drip stop valve, before
starting the brewing cycle.
Before starting operation by pressing the ON/OFF button,
always ensure to slide the drip speed control to a position
from 0.25 to 1.25.
After pouring a cup of coffee
during the brewing cycle, you
have forgotten to open the
drip stop valve again.
When brewing coffee, if there is still water in the water
tank, you should not leave the appliance operate with
the drip stop valve closed for more than 15 seconds.
Thus, after pouring, immediately replace the carafe onto
the warming plate and slide the drip speed control back
to a position from 0.25 to 1.25.
The dripping speed setting is
too low.
Select a somewhat higher drip speed by sliding the drip
speed control a little to the left side of the appliance. If
in doubt, you may check the filling level within the filter
basket by pulling out the filter cover for a moment.
The filter bag is leaking or not
spread out correctly.
Before filling in coffee powder, check the filter bag for
damage. Spread out the filter bag in the filter basket
evenly for covering the interior of the filter basket.
Handle the filter bag carefully to avoid perforation.
