When the mesh in the filter basket is blocked:
Soak the filter basket in hot dish-
water over night. Then, rinse the filter basket.
Without any coffee powder
Install
the filter basket and portafilter in place at the group head and start an extraction
cycle via the DOUBLE button. If the mesh is still clogged, use the fine needle of
the provided needle tool for carefully opening blocked holes.
CLEANING THE TAMPER, DRIP TRAY, AND STORAGE TRAY
1. The tamper may be cleaned via a soft cloth. However, ensure that the tamper
is completely dry, before using it again.
2. Ensure that the appliance is swiched off.
3. Pull the drip tray out of the housing carefully, avoiding to spill the contents of the
drip tray. Remove the metal grid from the drip tray and empty the drip tray. The
cover at the rear of the drip tray can be removed by pulling it upwards.
4. If required, take the storage tray out of the base of the appliance. Take out the
items in the storage tray.
NOTE
Drip tray and storage tray may be cleaned in an automatic dishwasher.
5. Wash the drip tray, metal grid, cover, and storage tray in warm dishwater via
a soft nylon brush. Wipe dry all parts.
6. Replace any items, you wish to store in the storage tray.
7. Replace the cover and metal grid at the drip tray. The three large openings in
the metal grid should face to the right side. If required, carefully push the cover
and metal grid down.
CLEANING THE HOUSING AND WARMING PLATE
WARNING
– To avoid a hazard due to overheating, fire, and electric
shock, ensure to keep the grinder absolutely dry and carefully avoid to drip any
liquids into the grinder intake and/or the installed bean hopper.
8. Use a soft, damp, not dripping cloth for cleaning the housing, base, and cup
warming tray of the appliance.
Ensure to keep the grinder intake and/or
installed bean hopper completely dry.
9. Polish with a soft, dry cloth.
10. Insert the storage tray and drip tray in the base of the housing.
