LOST OR FORGOTTEN PASSWORD
If you forget your password or cannot access the system because of a system memory failure, you
may use the special code card to change the password back to GASBOY.
1.
Insert the code card into the Series 1000 card reader.
2.
Remove the card.
3.
The LCD displays: PASSWORD CHANGED.
4.
A transaction is generated with the message CODE CARD and all data fields are filled with
zeroes.
5.
You may now sign on to the data terminal using the GASBOY password.
6.
If desired, use the LS command to reload your own password.
You can also use diagnostic test number one to change the password back to GASBOY. See the
Series 1000 Diagnostic Manual for details.
