DUAL LOCKOUT OPTION
The Dual Lockout Option is not supported for the CFN systems. Lockout is by 7-digit card number
only.
MANUAL KEYPAD ENTRY OPTION
The CFN systems use the additional manual entry field to contain a job number of up to eight
digits.
FUEL DELIVERY AND DIPSTICK CARD OPTION
When cards are encoded for the CFN systems, six of the seven card number digits are encoded in
the CARD field. The seventh is encoded at the end of the card string and is the most significant
digit (MSD) for the CARD field (that is, when the card is read, that digit precedes all the others). If
the card number is 123456 and the last digit is an 8, the card number is actually 8123456. If no
digit is encoded at the end of the card, a zero is assumed. If you wish to use the fuel delivery and
dipstick option, a number must be encoded at the end and it must be a nine. This is because fuel
delivery and dipstick cards fall into a numeric range that begins with a nine (9).
Delivery cards: 9999980 - 9999989
Dipstick cards: 9999990 - 9999999
SUPERVISOR CARD OPTION
If you use the Supervisor card option and you elect to use CARD as one of the manually entered
fields, you must have the seventh card digit (MSD) encoded on the card and it must be either an A
or an E to match the other six digits of the CARD field. If your layout appears:
*77=7-(*7'%6(%''3928:),*7)<40-1-8%98,46-')1%2)2817(
\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\
You would encode the following to manually enter card, account and vehicle fields using the
supervisor card option.
*77=7-(*7'%6(%''3928:),*7)<40-1-8%98,46-')1%2)2817(
