Traffic Overlay on Maps
Traffic information may also be displayed as map overlays and serve as additional reference
to the 'Traffic' Page. When traffic is selected on maps other than the 'Traffic' Page, a traffic
status icon is shown to indicate the feature is enabled for display. For more information on
map overlay options, see the Map Options portion of the Navigation Section.

Traffic Alerts - Primary ADI and Primary HSI
A Traffic Alert (TA) may be issued anytime there is an increase in the number of traffic
advisories. Traffic advisory parameters and alerts depend on the traffic source configuration
in use. When a traffic alert condition is detected, a 'TFC' annunciation will be displayed on
each page. This annunciation will flash for five seconds before being displayed steady until the
threat is cleared.
