TOOLS AND ATTACHMENTS TO CLEAN
Operators to follow the instructions specified by Chick-fil-A
to clean tools and attachments of the grill (shown below) at
end of day:
NOTES on Tools Replacement
•
Discard foam head of oil roller when it becomes worn
(e.g. when it has holes or tears) and replace it with a new
one.
•
Replace the grill brush head when the silicone portion
of the brush has worn out and the stainless steel portion
touches the grill grate.
Annual Grill Certification
BENEFITS
Garland has developed a CFA Garland Grill Certification
program that encompasses a series of important service
tasks, if performed annually, will provide our customers
consistent cooking performance on grill, increase grill
reliability and life cycle, and most importantly, ensure safety
is maintained at the highest standard.
TASKS AND PARTS
The yearly certification program includes scheduling and
dispatching by Garland, a Factory Authorized Service Agent
to perform a specific list of service tasks.
Overview of tasks:
•
Inspect and Record the Existing State of the Grill
•
Perform Mandatory Part Replacement
•
Replacement parts are wearable and limited life
parts. Parts required will vary each year based on
the units time in the field.
•
Validate Grill Performance
•
Validate Cooking Performance
Exclusions:
Replacement parts for any items that are not specifically
listed as mandatory annual replacement. Items found to be
defective during the Certification check will be identified to
the responsible store manager for their evaluation.
If non-warranty or out of warranty repair is required, the
Factory Authorized Service Agent must provide the store
manager a quote for repair decision.
