 If the speaker volume and microphone
sensitivity was adjusted, the adjusted
value will be kept for the next
communication.
 Press any DTMF key, except the
designated “hang-up” keys to reset
the communication time to its preset
duration. Please note that when a
particular DTMF key is pressed, its
designed shortcut function will be
executed & the communication time
will be extended at the same time.
 Pressing the Green Reset Button
can also terminate the call.
 The Control Panel will only allow one
call per call-back mode. Terminating a
call during call-back period will
therefore terminate the call-back
mode.
 A special conditioned call-back mode
is when both Call-Back mode and
Help Arrived mode are activated. For
the duration of Help Arrived mode, the
Callback function is always available.
The Monitoring Center can call CTC-
1052 as many times as possible until
Help Arrived Mode is terminated
(Please refer to Help Arrived Signaling
section for more details).

the function you desire.

Follow On Operation
Follow-On options are only available for
Digital Reporting methods.
 If Command #38 is set as 0 , Follow-On, or
2 , Follow-On & Call-Back, it will then follow
its setting as in Command #45, Follow-On
Choice to open Two-way Voice, or, Listen-
In, or just waiting for commands.
 During the Follow-On period, the Monitoring
Center can remotely control CTC-1052 by
the DTMF commands below:
 Enter (7) to Speaker Volume Control
and then press (6) or (4) to increase
or decrease the levels of speaker
volume
in the “Two-Way”
communication mode (not in TALK
ONLY mode).
 Enter (8) to Microphone Sensitivity
Control and then press (6) or (4) to
increase or decrease the levels of
microphone sensitivity in the “Two-
Way” communication mode.
 If the speaker volume and microphone
sensitivity was adjusted, the adjusted
value will be kept for the next
communication.


Automatically hangs up after the
Follow-On Period expires.
 The allowable time duration for Follow-On
Period is set by Command #46 (1-10
mins).
 During Two-way Voice Communication, at
20 & 10 seconds before the Follow-On
period expires, CTC-1052 will emit two
beeps to alert both the user and the
Monitoring Center Personnel.
