• If the pump is used in indoor swimming pools, ponds, wells, etc. as well as in the corresponding
water installations, the national regulations of the countries in which the pump is applied
must be observed under all circumstances.
• Persons may not be located in the respective vessel/tank/basin during pump operation.
• The temperature of the liquid to be conveyed must not 35 °C. If extension cables
are being used, these may only consist of rubber, type HO7 RN-F, in acc. with the standards
DIN 57282 or DIN 57245. Never touch, lift or transport the pump connected to the electric
supply on the cable. Make sure that the connection socket is not exposed to water or
dampness and that the plug is protected from moisture.
• Prior to commissioning the pump, check that the electric cable and/or the socket are
undamaged.
• Pull the plug from the socket prior to performing any kind of work on the pump.
• If the pump is installed in a drain, the drain must be covered up afterwards to protect
pedestrians.
• Reinforce the attachment of the drain pipe with a pipe clamp. Observe the maximum
immersion depth (see technical data). To prevent and/or avoid any damage (e.g. flooded
rooms, etc.) due to improper pump operation (e.g. faults or defects), the owner (operator)
is obligated to take adequate safety precautions (installation of an alarm device, reserve
pump or similar). In case of a sandy or muddy bottom, it is necessary to operate the pump
suspended on a rope or chain and/or to place the pump on an adequate surface to prevent
the suction part from sinking in.
• A defect pump may only be repaired by an authorized service point. Only original
replacement parts may be used.
• Please observe that according to the valid standards we will not assume any
responsibility for damage possibly caused by our devices in the following cases:
• improper repairs performed by an unauthorized service point
• use of non-original replacement parts.
• The connecting line of this device cannot be replaced.
In case of damage to the line, the device must be scrapped.
• Leaking lubricant may contaminate the liquid.
• The pump must be equipped with a Residual Current Protective Device (RCD) with
a rated residual current of no more than 30 mA.
The same regulations apply for accessory parts.
