Intended use
The devices are intended for private use in home and hobby gardens. They are mainly
designed for draining in case of flooding, but also for tank-to-tank transfer and for
emptying containers, for drawing water from wells and shafts, and for draining boats
and yachts.
Only use these devices according to their intended use! Any use beyond this does not
constitute intended use. The operator, not the manufacturer, is liable for damages or
injuries of any kind resulting from improper use.
Our equipment is not intended for commercial or industrial use. If this device is used in the
context of commercial or industrial use, the warranty is void.
When using tools some safety precautions must be observed to prevent injuries
and damage. Therefore read through the operating manual/ safety instructions
carefully. Store them in a safe place so that the information is available to you at
all times. If you should hand the appliance on to other persons please hand
these operating instructions/safety instructions out with them. We do not
assume any liability for accident or damage which do not arise due to the failure
to observe these instructions and the safety instructions.
Safety directions
• Please read the operating instructions carefully and observe them. Use these operating
instructions to familiarise yourself with the device, its correct handling as well as the
safety notices.
• The user is responsible to third parties with respect to usage of the pump (water installation,
etc.).
• This device is not designed to be used by persons (including children) with limited
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lacking in experience and/or knowledge,
unless they are supervised by a person responsible for their safety or receive instructions
from this person as to how the device is to be used. Children should be supervised to
ensure that they do not play with the device.
• Only operate on connections with fault current circuit breaker (FCCB)!
• Prior to commissioning, an authorized electrician must check that the required electric
safety equipment is installed.
• The electric connection must be established via an outlet.
• Check voltage. The voltage indicated on the type plate must coincide with the voltage of
the electric system.
