Battery
Alert Symbols and Descriptions of Battery
Operation
Always
wear
goggles
when
operating!
The electrolyte of storage battery
belongs to a strong corrosive
material, so that protective gloves
and goggles must be worn when
operating!
Make sure the workplace is free of
open flames, sparks, naked lights
and smoke!
Highly explosive mixed gas will be
generated when the battery is
charged!
Children must keep away from the
electrolyte and vehicle battery!
Do not perform any operation on the
electrical system but have an authorized GAC
Motor's dealer to complete relevant operations if
you are not familiar with the operational process
or do not have proper equipment.
Warning

Before operation, carefully read and comply
with relevant safety warnings and instructions
about the operation of the battery.
•
Do not perform operation on the battery unless
you have enough expertise.
•
Do not remove the battery. Beware of
chemical bums and battery explosion.
•
Damaged or leaked battery isn't allowed to
use. It should be recycled and disposed
according to laws and regulations of
environmental protection.
•
Make sure the workplace is free of open
flames, sparks, naked lights and smoke. When
operating the cables and electrical equipment,
be sure to prevent sparks and static electricity.
Do not allow the battery terminals to be short-
circuited. Otherwise, the high energy spark
from short circuit may injure the operator.
Charging System Warning Light
This warning light indicates the generator fault.
Set the ignition switch to the "ON" position.
The warning light will go on if the engine is not
started and it should go off when the engine is
started.
If the warning light comes on when the vehicle
is moving, it indicates that the generator cannot
charge the battery any more. Go to an
authorized GAC Motor's dealer to check the
vehicle as soon as possible.
