3. With the button on the instrument panel*:
Long press the hatchback door button on the
instrument panel for about 1.5s or longer, the
electric hatchback door will automatically open to
the highest position. During the automatic
opening/closing, by pressing this button, the
hatchback door will stop moving.
Hint
When the hatchback door begins to open
automatically, the turn signals flash, and the buzzer
sounds. During the automatic release of the
hatchback door, the buzzer sounds intermittently.
Master Switch of the Electric Hatchback Door*
The master switch of the electric hatchback
door is located in the glove box, open the glove box
first:

When the main switch

is put at "ON"
position, the automatically opening/closing
function will be activated.
–
When the main switch
①
is put at "OFF"
position, the automatically opening/closing
function will be deactivated.
Conditions for Automatic Opening
–
When the vehicle speed is lower than 3km/h,
electric opening function is effective.
Conditions for Automatic Closing
–
The automatic closing function can be
performed regardless vehicle speed.
–
When the suction lock catch is not released,
the automatic closing function will be disabled.
Hint
If the hatchback door cannot open/close
automatically, check whether the master switch of
the electric hatchback door is set to “ON”. If the
master switch is set to “ON”. but the
problem remains there, have checked by
authorized GAC Motor's dealer.
