This  manual  contains  complete  operating  and  maintenance  instructions  for  THE  S153  Ver.2 
FUSION SPLICER. Please review this manual carefully before operating. 

1.1.  Safety Information 

The  following  safety  instructions  must  be  observed  whenever  the  S153  Ver.2  fusion  splicer  is 
operated,  serviced  or  repaired.  Failure  to  comply  with  any  of  these  instructions  or  with  any
