Do not throw batteries into the trash can. Lithium batteries must be
disposed of in accordance with local regulations concerning special
waste.

For further safety information, please refer to section "Environmental

Ensure to insert the CMOS battery the with the positive pole
facing up!

14.1.2 Preliminary steps
Before replacing the CMOS battery, perform the following steps:

Shut down the server as described in section

Remove the AC power cord from the cable tie and disconnect it from the
system as described in section

Bring the server to its horizontal position.

Open the side cover as described in section
