Starting up and operation
Power switch
If you encounter problems, check the connections to the server and possibly
also the position of the power switch (see also
chapter “Troubleshooting” on
page 41
).
Error LED
The error LED indicates the status of the fan or the temperature.
lights orange
The temperature warning value has been
reached.
flashes fast orange
(interval 0,5 Hz)
The power supply fan has failed.
flashes slow orange
(interval 1 Hz)
The system fan has failed.
Power LED
The bicolor power LED indicates the status of the power supply
and the output voltage.
lights green
The power supply is switched on and is
working properly.
lights orange
Standby mode, the power supply is
switched off.
flashes green (1
Hz)
Standby mode, the power supply is
switched off via remote.
Power switch

(right setting)
Backup subsystem is switched on.
R
(center setting)
Switching the storage system on/off is
controlled by the input module depending
on the on/off status of the related server.
(left setting)
Backup subsystem is switched off,
power standby mode.

To bring the switch to this position,
you have to release the slide switch
by pressing the locking mechanism
down.
