Installation in the PRIMECENTER Rack or DataCenter Rack

Installation

Ê

Lift the backup subsystem onto the bearing rails and push it fully into the rack
(1).

Figure 8: Securing the pull-out protection

Secure the pull-out protection (1) on the support upright of the rack.

Secure the backup subsystem using the two knurled screws (2).

Ê

Route the cables as described in the technical manual for the rack in
question with the backup subsystem pushed in.
