The system is configured with one of two modules:
a standard modem module or an optional wireless LAN/modem combo module.
1 - Thermal suede
Several areas of the system back are covered with thermal suede. This protection should not be
removed. The thermal suede reduces the temperature on the outside of the Tablet PC. This is
important when you hold the Tablet PC in your hand for longer periods during operation.
2 - Wireless LAN On/Off switch
For a Tablet PC with a wireless LAN module installed, this switch turns the module on and off. You
should switch the wireless LAN module off when it is not in use in order to maximise battery life.
3 - Wireless LAN module cover
Provides protection for the optional wireless LAN module.
