Removing a PC card

First click the
Safely Remove Hardware
icon in the task bar in the bottom right-hand corner of the
display.
Select the device that is to be removed and click on
Shut down
.

Press on the eject button for the PC card with the upper end of the pen and remove the PC
card from the slot.

Never press the eject button with the sensitive pen tip! The pen tip could be damaged in
the process.
Removing and installing memory modules
There is one DIMM slot in your Tablet PC and 256 MB on the mainboard. 256 MB and 512 MB
modules are available, so you can install a combination of up to 768 MB in the system.

A DIMM replacement should only be carried out at a suitable workplace. You must
statically discharge yourself (e.g. by touching a grounded object). The equipment and
tools you use must be free of static charges. Avoid touching connector pins, conductors,
or other circuit components of the Tablet PC. Electrostatic discharge caused by doing so
can damage sensitive components.
