ADJUSTMENT OF CONSISTENCY SETTING
This intervention shall be carried out upon replacement of the electronic board , of the
ampere metric transformer, of the beater motor or in case it is necessary to modify ice
cream consistency: anyway , it is not advisable to modify the parameters set.
Adjustment of consistency setting on the electronic board
First of all identify on the electronic board the
T2 trimmer /SET 1) shown in the picture; then
set it by means of a screwdriver at 9h as
indicated in the figure. Start the machine
pressing pushbutton 3 PRODUCTION. Turn the
trimmer clockwise for a harder ice cream,
counter-clockwise for a softer ice cream. It is
NOT recommended to operate remarkable
alterations of the consistency setting only very
slight adjustments. Compared to a clock face ,
the setting shall not be modified by more than
half an hour, that is 15°: If satisfied results
cannot be achieved, it is necessary to align the
amperometric transformer (see next chapter).
Alignment of the amperometric transformer
First of all identify on the electronic board the T”
trimmer (SET 1) shown in the picture; then set it
by means of a screwdriver at 9h. Identify on the
transformer board the trimmer shown in the
picture; connect a wattmeter and a voltmeter –
or an amperometer and a voltmeter – and
check the line tension and the amperometric
phase of the beater motor. Pour ice cream mix
into the tank and start the production by
pressing pushbutton 3 PRODUCTION. Align
the SET values checked upon compressor
stopping (which takes place as soon as the
CONSISTENCY setting has been reached) with
the values indicated in the machine data sheet:
act on the amperometric transformer trimmer
rotating clockwise if the amperage checked
upon compressor stopping needs to be
decreased or counter clockwise to increase it.
Once finished the alignment, block the trimmer
TA of the amperometric transformer with some
paint. If required, it is possible to adjust the
consistency setting acting as described in the
chapter “adjustment of consistency setting
on the electronic board”.
