7. SCRAPPING
The machine has not to be left in scrapping condition due to the presence of toxic
and harmful material (refrigerant fluid) subject to regulation which foresee the
disposal in appropriate centres.
8. EMERCENCY INSTRUCTIONS
According to the industrial accident prevention standards in force (in Italy D.P.R. 547 dated
April 27,1995), it is compulsory to take the following precautionary measures as far as the
electrical installation concerns:
a) All metallic parts of electric systems superior to 25 V towards earth, subject to
alternating current, which can get in contact with people due to faulty insulation, must be
put to earth
b) Plug connections to supply power to the machines and equipment provided with a
power superior to 1000 W, neutral excluded, must be quipped with a circuit breaker in
order to allow to plug or unplug at open circuit.
An accident prevention circuit-breaker, interlocked with fuses, must be connected between
the power supply and the machine.
In case of danger, immediately remove voltage by means of the circuit-breaker.
In case of fire, make use of a power extinguisher.
9. EXTRAORDINARY MAINTENANCE (addressed to qualified personnel)
9.1 REFRIGERATION UNIT
Periodically clean the heat exchanger. Remove voltage by means of the master switch
located upstream the equipment; remove the right side panel to reach the internal
components and by means of an air jet blow through the blades of the fan, as shown in the
picture, to remove dirt. If such operation cannot be carried, it is advisable to remove the
dirt from the outside by means of a brush and an exhauster of great capacity.
9.2 ELECTRIC INSTALLATION
The information provided hereunder are referred to machines in STANDARD execution
only and may therefore be not totally suitable for machines in special execution.
Adjustments of the electronic board TRIMMER shall be carried out by qualified personnel
only and according to the instructions provided by our SERVICE DEPARTMENT.
All references to a hypothetical “clock face” are expressly made and shall be dealt with
considering the electronic board positioned in such a way that its feeding transformer (T) is
located on the left lower corner (see picture).
