The inside color of the grill may change slightly. This is a natural process.
Switching on the gas grill
1.
Open the lid.
2.
In clockwise direction, move all
switches to “OFF”.
3.
Connect the pressurestat to the gas
cylinder.
4.
Open the valve of the gas cylinder
and perform a leak test between the
pressurestat and the gas cylinder
using leak detection spray or soap
water.
5.
You can ignite the burners indepen-
dently.
6.
Press one of the start buttons and
keep it pressed while moving it
counterclockwise to “HI” – keep the
button pressed. You will then hear a
clicking sound. The burner ignites. If
the burner does not ignite instantly,
repeat this step 3 to 4 times.
7. Warning:
If after several attempts,
the burner has not lit, move the
switch back clockwise to “OFF” and
close the valve of the gas cylinder.
Wait for 5 minutes and start again
at step 4.
8.
If you have lit one burner, repeat
steps 6 and 7 with the other switch
to ignite the second burner, too.
9.
Adjust the heat by moving the
switch to your desired setting bet-
ween the highest level “HI” and the
lowest level “LO”.
Preparing the BBQ for grilling indirectly
Warning!
Pull out the cold grate and place a casserole or an aluminium bowl on top of the ceramic burner. Put
the grate back in.
While grilling indirectly the infrared zone is not in use. The casserole or bowl prevents that juices of meat and
marinades drip on the ceramic burner and damage it.
Ignite both stainless steel burners (left and right burner) and let the grill heat up with closed lid to the desired
temperature. Open the lid and put the grilling ingredients on the cold and covered infrared burner. Close the
lid and use the indirect heat of the outer burners for slowly cooking your ingredients.
