This command creates the OSPF virtual interface for the specified <areaid> and <neighbor>. The
<neighborid> parameter is the Router ID of the neighbor.
Syntax
area <areaid> virtual-link <neighborid>
no area <areaid> virtual-link <neighborid>

- Area ID.
<neighborid>
- Router ID of the neighbor.

- This command deletes the OSPF virtual interface from the given interface, identified by
<areaid>

<neighborid>
. The

Default Setting
The default authentication type is none.
