7. PROBLEM SOLVING
DANGEROUS! If the view does not darken immediately after welding arc is inflamed, the welding has to be
stopped. Take down the cassette and send it (without the total helmet) to the supplier for testing.
If you still use the helmet although you know that the view casette in NOT WORKING, YOUR EYES CAN BE
DAMAGED which CAN LEAD TO BLINDNESS. If a helmet is used in spite of defective function the guarantee
will be canelled.

5.4 Push the potentiometer through the sideways opening of the welding helmet and turn the nut
onto the threaded pin which projects sideways out of the helmet. Put the colouring adjustment
knob onto the pin again.
5.5 CLEANING. The outside screen has to be cleaned regulary; therefore no aggressive agents
may be used. Clean up the sensor and solar cells with a clean, non-fuzzing cloth or with a tissue.
5.6 EU-Standards and regulations. The product correspends completely to the EN, CE safety
standards. The helmet is CE - EN 175, 1997 and EN 379, 2003 tested. Technical documentation
is available on repuest at Translas TipWorks BV.
