1.3.2 Available Cables for the HyperConverter
The following list details the available accessory cables that connect the HyperConverter to various
types of computers and workstations and enable the special features of component output and
GenLock. Cables are provided for 5 basic computer platforms (PC,MAC, Sun, SGI and Generic
Workstation; most workstations use BNC connectors as the graphics monitor connecting device).
Each of these 5 platform types is available with the additional features of GenLock or Component
output or both. The HyperConverter can provide both YUV and RGB forms of component output,
but must be configured (with hardware jumpers; please see section 3.3.3) specifically for each form.
The same cable (designated with RGB) is used for both forms of component output.
