Appendix D - Component output
All versions of the HyperConverter support several forms of component output. The HyperConverter
can be configured for Betacam, M2, and RGB (with or without 7.5 IRE units of video setup). In
addition, component output synchronization may be provide as a separate, composite sync signal (4
wire) or as composite sync signal on the green output (3 wire).
Although all models of the HyperConverter support component output as an internal feature, you must
use the HyperConverter with an appropriate cable to get at this function. Cables which provide the
component output feature exist for all 5 platform and connector configurations of the HyperConverter
(PC, MAC, Sun, SGI, Other BNC workstation).
