Replacement of the cutting line (XXVI)
Remove the reel screw and remove the reel with its guard. Remove the reel from the guard. Remove the remaining cutting line
from the reel. Clean the reel, the reel guard, the spring and the fixing screw from residues of grass, soil and other dirt.
Prepare a 5-metre cutting line of a diameter specified in the table. In the middle of its length pass the cutting line through the slot
in the partition between the two parts of the reel. Wind the cutting line on both the parts of the reel counter clockwise. Place the
ends of the cutting line in the slots in front of the arrows on the reel. Leave approximately 15 cm of the cutting line outside the slots.
Install the reel with the cutting line in accordance with the procedure described in the manual.
Storage of the device
Before the scythe is stored for a long period of time, the fuel tank and the fuel system must be drained.
Clean the scythe from residues of grass, soil and other dirt.
Revise the conditions of the fuel system and make sure there are no leaks. In case however there are any, eliminate them before
storage. Have these actions done at a specialised workshop.
Disconnect both sections of the drive shaft guide. Place a protective cover on the lower section.
The scythe must be stored in a dry, closed place, which must be protected from access of unauthorised persons, particularly
children. Ensure good ventilation during storage.
