bystanders and the trimmer during work.

The trimmer must be always operated with both hands.

During work keep the trimmer so that the rotation plane of the cutting element is always parallel to the ground. It is prohibited to

incline the trimmer or lift it too high. During work adopt a position which does not imply reaching the full arm length. The trimmer

must be operated in accordance with its intended use. The purpose of the trimmer is exclusively trimming grass. Before work may

be commenced the area must be properly prepared. Remove stones, pieces of wood and any other objects which might damage

the trimmer or be thrown during work.

During work with the blade there is a risk of a rebound of the device backwards and the knife hitting the operator. In order to

minimise the risk, avoid cutting hard parts of plants.

Operation of the hedge shears

Do not ever allow children to operate the device.

Before work may be commenced it is required to determine a safety zone which permits to maintain bystanders at a safe distance

from a functioning device. During work the operator must always adopt a safe position, particularly in case they are working on a

platform or on a ladder. During work it is required to keep the trimmer with both hands.

The device must be repaired by specialised personnel. It is prohibited to modify the structure of the tool in any manner.

Do not operate the tool, in case any damaged parts are detected.

In order to reduce the risk of fire, the motor and the exhaust system must be kept clean. Particularly they must be free from any

deposits after work, waste and leaking lubricants or grease. All ventilation slots must always be clean and open.

Before work may be commenced make sure all the guards are correctly installed. Do not ever operate a tool with modified guards

or without guards.

If the trimmer is equipped with more than one handle, the nit is required to always use both hands to operate the trimmer.

While handling, transporting or storing the trimmer, it is required to always place the blade guard.

The trimmer may be used solely to trim hedges, bushes and shrubs. Any other use which is not described in the operating manual

is prohibited. Before work get acquainted with the instructions of emergency deactivation of the machine in case of danger.

Operation of the garden chain sawing machine

The sawing machine must be operated in accordance with its intended use. The sawing machine may only be used to cut wood.

During work beware of metal elements which may be in wood.

Before work may be commenced it is required to determine a safety zone which permits to maintain bystanders at a safe distance

from a functioning sawing machine. It is required to remove from the area of work any obstacles, including tree branches. Dur-

ing work do not adopt a position that might lead to a loss of equilibrium, for example do not lean backwards. Beware of falling

branches and branches which rebound from the ground. Always operate the sawing machine keeping it with both hands. Hold the

rear handle with one hand, and the front handle with the other hand. Do not operate the sawing machine standing on a ladder.

Use a cutting chain which is adequate for the given load. Do not use cutting chains designed for light tasks in case of heavy loads.

Maintain the chain clean. The chain must be sharp and lubricated and properly tensioned. This will guarantee a more efficient and

safer operation. The chain may be sharpened in a specialised workshop. Before each use, it is required to inspect the chain. In

case any cracks, missing teeth or any other damage are detected, before work may be commenced the chain must be replaced

with a new one.

During work the chain may be caught in the processed element. In such cases it is required to stop the motor, and then release the

chain and the guide using wedges and check whether they are not damaged. If necessary replace the chain with a new one. It is

prohibited to work with a damaged chain or guide. During replacement, repairs and adjustments of the cutting chain it is required

to always wear protective gloves.

Instructions

Read the operating manual thoroughly. Get acquainted with the control systems and the principles of a correct operation of the

tool.

Do not permit children and those who are not acquainted with the operating instructions of the device to operate the device.

Do not work with the device if other persons, particularly children, or domestic animals are close. Outline a safety zone in ac-

cordance with the aforementioned recommendations. The operator or the user is responsible for any accidents or dangers for

bystanders.

Preparation

During work always wear heavy-duty shoes and long trousers, do not work bare footed or wearing sandals.

During work always wear individual hearing protections.

Inspect thoroughly the area where the device is to be operated and remove any stones, branches, wires, bones and other foreign

objects.

Before using the device always check whether the cutting element, bolts, guards and other elements are not worn out or dam-

aged. It is required to replace worn out elements before you commence work. Also make sure the threaded connections are tight.

Tighten loose bolts.
