7.2.2 Accessing the camera files with Windows Explorer
Note

The camera must be connected to the PC with the USB interface
•
The USB drivers must be correctly installed
General
Once connected the camera is connected to the PC with USB (camera Ethernet must be
disconnected), type the address of the camera in Window Explorer. Address can be in the
form of:

The camera IP address : 169.254.242.23

The camera SMB name : Platinum
Procedure
Windows Seven default configuration needs to be modified to allow a correct display of the
camera files into the Windows Explorer

Open the Local Security Policy control panel. It can be easily found by typing “Local” in
the Windows Start Menu Search Field.

Set Lan Manager authentication level to “Send LM & NTLM responses”
