If the existing ActiveX certificate is old or invalid, the ActiveX installation may fail in systems
that are not connected to the Internet, which therefore cannot update their security
certificates. In this case, the Setup.exe file in the ActiveX folder on the supplied CD should
be run. The user can then continue with the installation.
11. If a popup message appears for running the ActiveX add-on, click Allow .
Note:
If the password is changed and the Latitude AdminCenter Discovery feature is in use, deselect all
other proprietary types. Select
DVTEL Quasar Gen II Series as the Unit Type so that the new
password can be configured in the Discovery tab settings.
Additionally, you can change the camera’s network properties (either DHCP or Static IP) directly
from the camera’s web interface on the
System > Network > Basic screen.
