DIFFERENTIAL CONTROLLER
The W20 controller has a built-in independent differential controller.
Some hydraulic schemes already contain the differential controller while in some,
the differential controller can additionally be activated with the S1.4 parameter.
The differential controller function is possible in hydraulic schemes where the R6, T1
and T8 are vacant.
EXAMPLE OF DIFFERENTIAL CONTROLLER USE
SOLAR COLLECTORS (S1.4 = 4)
SOLID FUEL BOILER (S1.4 = 5)
The differential controller pump is controlled by the R6 and Y1 outputs.
The R6 output features a Triac and allows the RPM control of the pump speed whereas
the Y1 analogue output enables the control of the energy-saving pump speed with an
external PWM or 0–10V control signal. After the pump is connected, the S6.10 to S6.15
parameter settings must be performed.
Differential controller can be activated in schemes 408, 408b, 409, 409b, 411,
413, 416, 416b, 416c, 417, 418, 419, 420, 421, 422, 422b, 422c, 422d, 423e, 423f
and 423h. Schemes 404, 404b, 404c, 404d, 404e, 404f, 405, 406 and 407b
already include a differential regulator for the solar system.
