Startprobleme
3.4.1 Elektrisches Kraftstoffmagnetventil
Alle Motoren sind mit einem elektrischen (12V) Kraftstoffmagnetventil
ausgerüstet, über das der Motor bei Stopp abgeschaltet wird.
Das Kraftstoffmagnetventil befindet sich vor der Einspritzpumpe. Es
öffnet automatisch, wenn bei dem Fernbedienpanel die Taste "START"
gedrückt wird. Wenn der Generator auf "OFF" geschaltet wird, schließt
das Magnetventil. Es dauert dann noch einige Sekunden, bevor der
Generator stoppt.
Wenn der Generator nicht anspringt oder nicht einwandfrei (z.B.
unruhig) läuft, die Enddrehzahl nicht erreicht oder nicht einwandfrei
stoppt, kommt in erster Linie das Kraftstoffmagnetventil als Ursache in
Frage.
Eine Überprüfung des Kraftstoffmagnetventils erfolgt, indem man wäh-
rend des Betriebes den Stecker auf dem Kraftstoffmagnetventil kurzzei-
tig abzieht (vorher die Sicherungsschraube entfernen) und sofort
wieder einsteckt. Der Motor muß auf das Wiedereinstecken "scharf"
reagieren, d.h. sofort hochdrehen. Wenn der Motor dabei zögernd oder
"stotternd" hochdreht, ist ein Fehler am Magnetventil zu vermuten.
3.4
Starting Problems
3.4.1 Fuel Solenoid Valve
All engines are equipped with an electric inlet fuel solenoid valve (12V)
which switches off the motor.
The fuel solenoid valve is located in front of the injection pump. It opens
automatically, if the "START"-button is pressed on the remote control
panel. The solenoid valve is CLOSED when the generator main power
is switched "OFF". For this reason, it requires a few seconds before the
motor comes to a full halt
If the generator fails to start, runs rough, does not reach the proper RPM,
or does not stop properly, the first item to suspect in most cases is the
fuel solenoid valve and should be inspected first.
A check of the fuel solenoid valve by removing the plug from the fuel
solenoid valve for a short period whilst in operation (first remove the small
retention screw) and replace it immediately. The motor should "react
immediately" by revving high.If the motor does not react sharply to the
reconnection of the solenoid wire, it is a sign that the solenoid valve could
be faulty.
