OPERATION
Note:
Any high-temperature resistant, flat-
bottomed cookware can be used on the
appliance.
1. Make sure the heating controls are set to
"MIN", then connect the appliance to the
mains.
2. Place the cookware on the hotplate and
select the desired heating level.
MIN - 4
for simmering and gentle heating
5 - MAX
for boiling and frying
3. After use, turn the temperature control to
"MIN" and unplug the appliance from the
electrical outlet.
Note: Due to the design of the hotplate,
residual heat remains after it is switched off.
This can be used to keep food warm for a
short time.
CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
Clean the cooking plate after each use. This will
prevent spills from burning onto the ceramic
surface.
1. Before cleaning, unplug and wait until the
appliance has cooled down.
2. Wipe the ceramic glass surface with a damp
cloth.
3. Rub dry with a clean cloth. Remnants of
cleaning agent must not be left on the
surface.
4. Thoroughly clean the entire ceramic
glass cooking surface once a week with a
commercially available ceramic glass or
stainless-steel cleaner.
• Do not use detergents intended for
dishwashers, scouring agents, aggressive
cleaning agents such as oven spray or stain
remover, abrasive sponges or high-pressure
cleaners / steam jet cleaners.
• Do not clean with scouring pads or steel
wool, as this will damage the finish.
• Do not immerse the appliance in water or any
