CiTRANS R820 Edge Router Hardware Description
The 19-inch cabinet provides three indicators. Table 1-4 describes the status of
each indicator.

The equipment is disconnected from the power

Red (critical/major alarm

The equipment has a critical or major alarm.

ON
The equipment has a minor alarm.
OFF
The equipment does not have a minor alarm.

Typical Layout
To ensure normal air cooling and wiring, observe the following principles when
installation each component of the cabinet:

Arrange subracks according to the typical layout of cabinets in different
dimensions.
u
Do not occupy the minimum reserved space shown in the typical layout. The
minimum reserved space above or under each subrack is reserved for air
cooling or wiring of the equipment.
u
If the cabinet is not fully occupied, arrange subracks from the bottom up and
reserve the upper space for capacity expansion.
Figure 1-5 shows the typical layout of the CiTRANS R820 in 19-inch cabinets.
