On the procedure
• Place a test support

on the guide rail

of X-axis 1 (with energy chain).
• Check the guide rail of X-axis 1 (with energy chain) at every position of an adjusting kit

• Align the guide rail with the adjusting kit of the test position.
1. Check the guide rail of X-axis 1 at the position of an adjusting kit for flatness and side tilt.
Compare the test result with the specified limit values
7.2.2 Limit values of X-axis alignment.
2. Align the guide rail of X-axis 1 with the adjusting kit of the test position
Tightening torque of the socket head screws 24 Nm
3. Repeat steps 1. and 2. at every position of an adjusting kit of X-axis 1.
4. Check the guide rail of X-axis 1 again for compliance with the limit values for flatness and tilt.
X-axis 1 (with energy chain) is aligned and forms the basis for the continuing alignment of the
planar surface gantry.
