Cascade Mode on page 24 for more information.
When I enter a delay, it appears in red on-screen and a lower
delay is actually selected.
This is normal behavior and indicates that the delay you entered
exceeded the maximum possible for the current audio signal.
See page 18 for details.
No standby LED or input LEDs are lit on the front panel.
Check the power cable is securely plugged into the back of the
HD940. Check the power adaptor is plugged into a working,
powered wall socket.
The HD940 is on. It responds to the buttons on its front panel,
but there is no response from the remote control.
Ensure you are pointing the remote control’s infrared transmitter
squarely at the front of the HD940. Check there is nothing
obscuring the display of the HD940. Check the batteries in the
remote control are installed correctly; replace them with new
ones if required.
The HD940 is operational, i.e. the input changes when an
input button is pressed, but no text messages from the HD940
appear on the TV screen.
This is normal behavior if you have turned the HD940 on-screen
display off. Press
to restore the display. See page 15 for
more information on positioning the on-screen display.
For any other problems with the HD940 perform a Factory
Reset (see page 41) before contacting your dealer.
