STEAM ROOM GUIDELINES
The following general information should be used in conjunction with your archi-
tect, designer and contractor in determining all factors necessary in providing a suitable and safe
steam room environment for your bathers.
Owners/operators should obtain a copy and familiarize themselves with the latest
edition of the American College of Sports Medicine Health/Fitness Faculty Standards and
Guidelines (ISBN: 0736051538), or a similar resource and reference publication, and refer to those
guidelines for the proper and safe operation of a spa facility including steam rooms.

the
steamhead
until
the

the
