FCI WATERMAKERS, INC. 37 Installation
While observing CAUTIONS listed on previous page,
make the electrical connections as described below.
WIRING THE POWER SUPPLY
1. Make sure the source water is closed, and the system's main electrical
disconnect switch is switched “OFF,” LOCKED, and TAGGED.
2. Open door on electrical enclosure by loosening the screws on the
right corners of the door and swinging door on hinges.
3. Using the proper gauge wire (consult with your local electrical codes), feed power
cable into enclosure through the cable grip on the right side of the enclosure.
4. Locate the contactor block inside enclosure and connect the power
cable to terminals 1, 2, and G as shown in
Figure 15
.
5. If your installation uses modular mount, you may need to install a longer
cable from the inlet solenoid to the appropriate electrical enclosure contactors.
Proceed to "WIRING THE SOLENOID (modular mount only)" on page 38.
Otherwise, close and secure electrical enclosure door with its corner
screws and proceed to "INSTALLATION CHECKLIST" on page 25.
